Pen & Paper

ready, set, go…

It was around the age of 8 years old that a typical young boy would normally answer “athlete” or “rockstar” when completing a school project on “What do you want to be when you grow up?”. Unsure as to what defining role would best suit my interests then and into my impending future, I was encouraged by many that due to my passion and love of creating and drawing pictures, a wise choice would be the not so glamorous title of “graphic designer”.

Although the “rockstar” and “athlete” careers were entertained to differing degrees of success over the years, it was eventually and unavoidably a pursuit  and love of design and creative thinking that was to be the only job that has allowed me to never work a day in my life.

love what you do…

Doing what I do every day – creating something from nothing – is not only one of the most satisfying and rewarding pursuits I can think of, but one in which every day brings a new set of challenges to sink my teeth into. Its not often that one has the opportunity to live out their dream, and its rarely as perfect as it seems. However, not everyone gets to make something cool for a living either.
